Into the Woods – Transeasonal 2011 New Range

Once upon a time there is a girl.

She wanders through a woodland forest, tripping between daydream and reality. She treads softly toward the sound of trickling water. Along the curved lines of tree trunks, shafts of light illuminate the rich, earthy texture of moss.

She turns the corner and her heart skips a beat...

Donna Sgro has been selected to exhibit as part of the Science Museum’s Trash Fashion... Designing Out Waste exhibition

Trash Fashion takes the millions of tonnes of textiles which end up in landfill each year, and investigates how the latest in design and technology can create wear without waste.

Donna Sgro is on show alongside other garments which reduce waste and the impact on the environment in various ways.

If you’re in London from July 2010 through March 2011, make sure you drop by to see the exhibition!

SHINMAI Creator's Project

Donna Sgro was one of 5 new brands chosen worldwide to participate in the 1st SHINMAI Creator's Project show at Japan Fashion Week in 2009.

A very exciting event to be part of, the SHINMAI Creator's Project took place on March 23. Donna Sgro launched her new range - Octopus's Garden, which was enthusiastically received.

The SHINMAI Creator's Project was announced a success by the Japan Fashion Week Organisation, who have invited Donna Sgro to show again in Tokyo.
